Time’s up for Fergie

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 So Sir Alex has retired
he’s finally called it a day
no more looking at his watch
wondering how long to play.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 No more Hair-dryer treatment
or throwing tea cups around
no more berating Referees
or Fergie time at any ground.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 No more chewing of Gum
or jumping out of his seat
no more Fergie mind games
or Keegan ranting he hopes he gets beat.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 No more Fergie on the sidelines
wearing his trademark overcoat
no more waving his arms about
wanting to grab someone by the throat.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So no more Sir Alex Ferguson
who came to Old Trafford from Aberdeen
and who will go down in Football history
as the greatest Manager there’s ever been ?

So he’s announced his retirement which still comes as a bit of a surprise even though we knew it would come eventually.
Now the question we will be hearing asked all over the Football world is :
Is he the greatest manager of all time ?if you measure success on trophies won you have to say yes.it will be interesting listening to names mentioned,Shankly,Clough,Busby,Paisley, even Wenger I bet ?
But his record at United is hard to argue against.
