To Be Chucked Out and Let Back In!!!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I’m in the away end at Walsall
Next to a carzy made out of tin
When a voice comes over the tannoy
‘Would the owner of a blue saab
Come into the police room nearby
He’s blocking somebody in’
The police were ever so friendly
As I was ecorted out of the ground
They help’d me to park facing the motorway
After turning my car around
The match had’nt started
So I went back to the ground
Where they kindly let me back in
All of my mates
Thought it was great
To be chucked out
And let back in!!!

Notes

This was in the days of John Neal, when a persil voucher could get you all the way across the country! No wonder our clothes were so clean. This time however four us drove up to to Walsall in a league cup tie I think. Wee Pat, Speedie, Dixon and Steady Eddie, we were just so exciting and unstoppable!!!

peace.
