Tonights Match Against Cork

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 If we’re going to be successful
In a season non-distressful
We have to go to Turners Cross and win.
Though they might be a rival
We should aim above survival
And not be too afraid of John O’Flynn.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 It will be of little use
To be just Dolan out abuse,
We have to keep it on the deck and play.
And Jim and Thomas shall
Keep feeding Rich and Ollie Cahill,
Who’ll get it in to Geogo and to Jay.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 If its raining or its snowing
We have got to keep on going,
Regardless of the vagaries of weather
A keenly-fought game what’ll
Show if we have got the bottle,
Though Cork and bottle often go together.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I’m sure that Kevin can
Keep quiet George O’Callaghan,
And Jim will show O’Flynn just who the boss is.
Our defenders will stand firm
In both the first and second term,
So long as Willo doesn’t come for crosses.

Notes

We drew 0-0.
