Too Dull and Back

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 No tickets
No need to go
Because we already know

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Your team don’t silence the critics
So the crowd is quiet
It’s bad, we don’t deny it

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 No pride, no passion, no hope
Something’s bugging our team
Under the microscope

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 How many times
Do we watch this same game
Of points down the drain

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So Mr Grant
We know the score
We’ve been here before

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Beware of slating the fans
We shall not be ignored
Our money is needed by the Board

Notes

Peter Grant has branded Norwich fans a ‘disgrace’ for being quiet and not getting behind his team after a poor, thoroughly boring performance which saw Hull snatch an equaliser in stoppage time. Yes, the fans are a disgrace. Wasting time and money on season tickets instead of doing something worthwhile. You have fallen into the same trap as Nigel Worthington, and so soon. Hacking off your paying public is not a smart move. The Board will tell you to apologise but fans won’t forgive and forget. We are fed up with immature and inexperienced men blaming us for their inadequacies and lack of effectiveness.

The reason you heard no noise was because we’re too polite to boo you off after only six weeks in charge.

If you carry on like this, the ground will be silent on match days due to being empty. It’s up to you, not us. Good luck.
