Nerves are frayed, tethers diminished
Uncertainty it ruled us all
Pride, it came, before a fall
Credit though to all the staff
For getting on without a laugh
Top Cat now, our clubs redeemer
Genuine chap? or total schemer?
First Interview was very clever
Talked the talk to Trevor never
The Echo next, we won’t be silly
Or careless like rebuffing Billy
“it’s not a money thing” he said
Creditors read it filled with dread
Complete new phase that we now enter
With Stadium, Hotel, Convention centre.

The most turbulent season in Cork City FC’s brief history has seen us survive under the chairmanship of local property developer Tom “TC” Coughlan.
Ever thankful for survival but the jury is still out.
