Then doubled in weight with dubbin
Waterproof armour for the feet
Safely encased, no blisters rubbin’

Now feet are common casualites
In boots like ballet pumps
Metatarsus jigsaws all the rage
No protection from lumps and bumps

Get back to black, shiny leather
These injuries just have to stop
Bring back yard-long laces and six studs
