Treasure Hunt

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 How many men have worn the red
Unique though, this man is
Number eight or twenty-one
The golden treasure his
Some let theirs go but his was kept
With pride intact forever
Come along all and you can find our
Mighty Knight’s endeavour
Eleven only in all of time
Do see it, is my plea
A brightly lit case, in a special place at
Liverpool F.C.

Notes

Inspired by Roger Hunt’s 1966 World Cup medal
loaned by Roger for display at the Liverpool. F.C. Museum
