Two Kids For A Tenner!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 As all the seats sit empty
Fans alone are glum
Atmosphere is crucial
To proceedings going on

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The shrill noise of excited kids
Echos round the ground
Whats gone on, is something wrong?
Ticket prices have come down

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Two kids for a tenner!
There in black and white,
Who instigated this, financial bliss?
Make that man a knight!

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Joey Cole and Mourinhio
At last, see eye to eye
As they both agree, what we need
Is entrance fee to take a dive

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Two kids for a tenner, come on all you clubs
Talk is cheap, money talks, don’t take us fans for mugs
With stadia half empty, as is happening of late
Subsidise those youngsters, before it gets too late

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Its down to dough, we all know, why fans will stay away
Put something back into the community, subsidise today!
Two kids for a tenner! What a lovely thought
Is there any way much better, to increase your loyal support?

Notes

When Arsenal played at the old Wembley in the European Cup or Champions League. Every seat in the house was a tenner? The place was filled to the rafters, surely clubs could knock out all those empty seats to local schools and sports teams who can’t afford the asking?

Go on, put something back, instead of moaning and groaning about falling attendances, due to t.v. Why do they think there are hardly any youngsters at the game, because its too blimmin expensive to take them!

Build a relationship with the future fans of tomorrow, by giving them cut price tickets to the game, not family enclosures, where the seats and the views of whats going on are crapola, in most cases!

peace.
