Two Minds

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Liverpool had style
Liverpool had skill,
The best my a mile
Going in for the kill.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But now Heskey’s shooting blanks
Fighting for a mid-table place,
Fan’s receive no thanks
For thinking their team is ace.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Lots of injuries that is so
But there is no strength to the side,
Points are lost we cry and woe
Denting some Liverpool pride.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Won some games, put down to luck
All we can hope for is a mid-table place,
Fans scream that Liverpool suck
Losing out in the Premiership race.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 We cannot crack for we may start to win
And we all should keep our red faith,
Booing our side oh what a sin
At least our Carling Cup place is safe!

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 So who will score our vital goals?
Owen, Heskey, Kewell or Biscan?
Losing too many is taking tolls
For the patient Liverpool fan.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Another loss yesterday of 2-1
No consolation for we were out played,
Houllier surely must be gone
For a once good Liverpool team memories fade.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 But maybe this was the turning game
We could dominate the Premiership,
Let’s stick with Houllier he’s not singularly to blame
For surely it is a minor blip.
