Valley of Death

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 From the valley of dreams to the valley of death,
In five short years of joy and pain,
The club I love has no more breath,
Will it die, or live again.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I wonder what, why, when and who,
Of how it’s come to this,
One hundred years is far too few,
One more day, to the abyss.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 God can move a mountain,
God can hold the sun,
Divine help may be our gain,
So come on God, come on son.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The apathy, the lack of will,
Community uninspired,
Will no one have the answer til,
It’s too late and we’ve expired.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So if it ends the way it seems,
Nothing will ever be the same,
If it goes as what fate deems,
We all must share the blame

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 No epitaph can redeem this strife,
For fans of our great club,
To lose you soul, your heart, your life.
For Sat’days in the pub.

Notes
