Viva Barca.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Rome’s Stadio Olympico reverberates
To the sound of ‘Ole’.
As the pepped and up for it
Catalan giants
Toy with their illustrious opponents

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Two nil?
Doesn’t quite tell the full story.
As at times
The sublime short passing game
Of the Catalans.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Reminded one
Of an imposing matador.
Embarrassingly playing a bull
Prior to delivering
A thrusting rapier like attack.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 To the heart of a faltering defence.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Forget Gel Boy and The Messi Kid
Check out Andres Iniesta and Xavi
Playing football for the purist.

I’m, for once at least, totally in agreement with The Red Nosed Knight.

“They were better than us, and so thoroughly deserved to win the game”. I did hear that right didn’t I ?. Just checking.

After last night’s awesome display of an at times sublime give and go short passing game, Spain have produced European Champions on two fronts in the last twelve months. Not bad eh English press boys? Who were raving on, prior to the match, as if there was only one team in it. This is aimed at the ill informed hacks and not the Mancs.
