Bill, Bob and Joe all smiling down
The Reds they did them proud
And 3 Grand men of Liverpool
Stood with the Anfield crowd

Hands of friendship far and wide
The wounds of past must heal
It’s football first across divides
Give hate no room to breathe
¶ 3

Walk On Walk on the words implore
With hope deep in your heart
“It’s just a song” the cynics yawn
But hope will play its part
¶ 4

So come the match bound for Turin
The bonds however frail
Must walk on through the storms of life
Determined not to fail.
