2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 torn like Kevin pub or home
just one TV in our home
lap-top judders like a phone
can I bear to watch alone
who’ll reward the faith I’ve shown
watching England?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 trepidation sadness fear
in my eye an early tear
watching paint dry can compare
as the dreaded time draws near
why am I devoid of cheer
watching England?

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 eve’ry tournament the same
media hyping up the game
those in charge to diss and blame –

In response to SB Ingle’s great epsistle to the unseen arm-chair trials and tribulations of many an England fan….the bravado and reality’s always a little different in your own home isn’t it? Why can’t we be like the Irish who truly deserve the EuroSound & Vision Song prize for support .
