And had the world’s largest economy
Scream your name out loud

A potential winner was disallowed?
It deceived my eyes
And all those in the crowd!

Notes

Friday 18th June 2010

Group D
Serbia 1 Germany 0

Slovenia 2 USA 2

Slovenia go 2-0 up.
USA get back to 2-1, then Michael Bradley, the manager’s son, equalises.
Then, a perfectly good goal is disallowed.
A free-kick into the box – and there could have been 3 penalties! Slovenia holding 3 USA players in bearhugs.
And the referee inexplicably whistled for a foul to Slovenia.
It was impossible to see one single infringement – or even hint of one – by the USA.

And the title?
Father’s Day in the UK and Ireland this weekend.

England 0 Algeria 0

The less said the better 🙁
