a tired old fighter wobbling on his feet,
but in the end the Belgians did enough.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Trading punches in the sapping heat,
the USA looked punch drunk at the end,
a tired old fighter wobbling on his feet.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 De Bruyne, Lukaku both had strikes to send
the Belgians catatonic with delight.
The USA were punch drunk at the end.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The more the game descended into night,
the more it seemed to sap American strength,
the Belgians catatonic with delight.

and, till Green poked a consolation in,
the more it seemed to sap America’s strength.
