WC2014 Day 26 Rest Day

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 If you wish your life were fuller,
had a little bit more colour,
and you’re tired of seeing things in monochrome,
you could wipe away the greyness,
add a little touch of gayness –
you could make your life less heinous
with your vanishing foam.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 If your boss is getting uppity
about your seventh cup o’ tea
and your pulse is throbbing like a metronome,
simply smile a little sweetly,
reach behind you most discreetly
and then smother him completely
in your vanishing foam.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 If you’re out in Transylvania,
satisfying vampire mania
and the sun is going to set before you’re home,
sprigs of garlic will not drop them.
wooden heart-stakes will not top them –
no, the only thing to stop them
is your vanishing foam.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 All the mistakes in your past, babe,
you thought were there to last, babe,
no matter how widely you might roam –
if you thought that there’s not an
incident that’s not been rotten,
well, they all can be forgotten
with your vanishing foam.
