the sheriffs sitting in their judicious techno-box
sometimes
call for instant justice
and sometimes
turn a blind eye

the tv technicians are loving it – re-run after re-run, keeps them busy
while the punters are just dizzy

Something definitely remiss in the Argentine camp.
Messi’s whole body language spoke volumes:
Not being able to cope with the weight of expectations
Not caring enough
Not believing in his team-mates
Not believing in his coach
Plus, I really think that Ronaldo’s hat-trick v Spain has just got under his skin and undermined him!

Plus, as soon as I heard Romero was out of the World Cup, I just knew Argentina would struggle – Willy Caballero hasn’t even been good enough as a back-up keeper for us this year (CFC).

I hear Liverpool might take him on – seeing him as equal ability to Karius!!

Poets ‘big-boys’* sexist problem:I like Willie (Wolrd Cup Willie not Caballero)
use the term big boys a lot.I picked it up at school…which is where i guess it originated.

The thing is, how will we refer to favourites in the Womens World Cup?
Big girls is harsh in any land and has also become very derogatory and un-PC .
Just saying.
