We are the Norwich Barclay

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I thought I’d write a poem today
About the game on Saturday
Then I realised it’s the Arsenal
No points likely, no chance at all
So I thought I’d sing a song instead
It keeps echoing around inside my head
A chant recalled from the seventies
Starring Bill Shankly and Bertie Mee:

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Bertie Mee said to Bill Shankly
‘Have you heard of the North Bank, Highbury?’
Shanks said ‘No, I don’t think so
But I’ve heard of the Norwich Barclay’

Notes

Dedicated to the Norwich faithful, singing their hearts out for the lads.
