Well Worth The Entrance Fee.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 London derbies when it’s raining
Can take your breath away
Especially if playing The Arsenal,
At home and that flowing game they play.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Arshavins like a Jack-In-The Box
Cesc Fabregas is class
Their pass and move is great to watch
As it glide’s across the grass.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The Drog had nicked a pair of goals
“We’ll slaughter ‘em ’ ” we thought
By halftime we were on a roll
As we turned round at two nought.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Then we lost our concentration
It was backs against the wall
Cech was making save after save
As we toiled to ride the storm.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Drogba hits the woodwork
Seemed our third weren’t far away
Then The Arsenal start to turn it on
In that wonderful way they play.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 We couldn’t get our foot on the ball
Or string a move together
It was lets dig in and fight our corner
All of us, and John Terry.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 As our midfield was dragged all over the place
The game was in the balance
Though on this occasion I’d have to say
Our hard work outshone their talent.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 Just how long did The Arsenal have the ball?
I’d love to see the stats
You can play possession football all afternoon
But it’s goals that win… The Match!

Notes

The Arsenal arrive at fortress Stamford Bridge determined to keep their league season alive with an away win or go nine points adift if they fail to do so.

I’m not a Wenger fan as most people will know, but hey, lets give credit where credit’s due. He set his young team up to really give it a go and some of their give and go play was wonderful to watch.

We were two goals up and coasting as the interval came, then after the break they stepped up another gear and we couldn’t get near them on occasion. The quick passing game they play is just on another plane to anything I’ve seen this season from anybody, but will it, in time win them trophies? Who knows?

By the way we wern’t bad either just not as skillful as them but they really made us work for our win.

Peace

Kev
