If were not to stay in division 2
Fans moaning doom and gloom
not good enough I can only assume

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Games running out we need a win
Manager taking it on the chin
Same excuses week in week out
Could celebrations be up the spout

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Transfer embargo fans starting to moan
Having to get by with players on loan
Two new signings injured and out
And another we signed his debut in doubt

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So far away from a promotion spot
It’s points we need and quite a lot
Ever so close to the conference trap door
The team can’t defend nor can they score

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 I didn’t expect promotion nor a position as such
But I never thought they’d be so out of touch
Every team looks better than us
The managers position we have to discuss.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 This is the worst Bolton team I have seen
And believe me, there have been umpteen
We need to survive it’s essential we do
Next season is crucial to leave Division Two.
