1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Football can mirror life
with all it’s twists and turns
you never really know
what’s around the corner.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Take this weekend’s games
Bolton just never turned up
their fans getting all excited
then being let down big time.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The sun shone brightly at Blackpool
but Tangerine dreams were shattered
a season full of great expectations
as high as the town’s tower.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 People, just like life, let you down
footballers do it all the time
Scholes got the red mist again
even Fergie shook his head in disgust.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Life can bring joy and heartache
and my club has given me both
but like any kind of relationship
it has it’s ups and it’s downs.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 So football like life is unpredictable
you must expect the unexpected
but it’s not for the timorous soul
only the strong can keep on going.

As football fans we all have been through the highs and lows of following our clubs, my club has put years on me ! But we still keep on going through it all, but looking at some of the scores at the weekend just goes to prove you never really know what’s going to happen do you ?
