What price loyalty ?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The TIMES they are a saying
That Michael Owen he is a staying
All summer he has sat on the fence
But for the price of Sixty Five pence
His loyalty he is now relaying.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But it is difficult to know the extent
To which wor Michael is fully content
For the broadsheet that brings us this news
Only last month proclaimed we would lose
Young Owen if Nine Million were spent.

Why reveal his thoughts to the Times, why not the Evening Chronicle after all how many Toon fans buy the TIMES ?
