What Price Patience?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Keegan like Alice tumbles
Back down the rabbit hole
And the Toon besides themselves
Praise Ashley he who sits in
Black and White declaration of devotion
More Tweedle Dee than Tweedle Dum
Owen hastily throws away copies
Of his autobiography
Burning bridges like the Nazis burned books
Shearer smug on the pundits chair
Waits patient as a spider
And Keegan passionate as ever waves
From the terrace littered with tattered dreams
And hollow promises
Declares Patience his virtue his offering
And the Toon answer yes we will be patient
As Keegan hurries away.
