When Kezman Broke His Duck.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Have you ever seen such a commotion?
The players ran amok
The coolest penalty you’ve ever seen
When Kezman broke his duck

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 He’d smashed one against the woodwork
We thought him out of luck
But a smile was on his face at last
When Kezman broke his duck

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 His hard work had finally paid off
He tackles and he rucks
The fans were just so happy for him
When Kezman broke his duck

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I’ve never known the fans take to someone
Who seemed to have lost his touch
All that loyalty was repaid
When Kezman broke his duck

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The managers to be admired
Going with a striker in a rut
It was he who seemed the least surprised
When Kezman broke his duck

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 He missed a few opportunities
He kept going that takes guts
This be the first of many goals
Now Kezman’s broken his duck

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Fans can sometimes turn on you
It can be a case of luck
But we were there right behind him
Until Kezman broke his duck

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 He’d miss a chance pick himself up
The crowd his name would roar
He’d applaud us very graciously
I’ve not seen that before

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 peace.

Notes

The poem says it all. He just kept going and….going, in the end it has worked out for him.

The fans could see that he was working his socks off, even when it wasn’t happening for him and that was why they kept cheering him on.

He would very graciously turn around and applaud them despite a loss of form and it all going very pear shaped in the beginning!

peace.

kev.
