when all lay hinged upon a touch
when Man U faced the Blues

when stars must strive to shine
when men must turn to kings from pawns
when all is on the line

whenever these two meet
when passion rises over form
when stalemate is sweet

when the mass hysteria created by the media and the cash and growing loathing of Chelsea subsides (briefly or at least til Wednesday?) .a draw seemed the fairest result ,if based purely on control in two wildly contrasting halves..it hasn’t gone un-noticed here ,that the Blues are so often a second half side..with riches on the bench and strength in reserve….even if Shevy and Bllack still aren’t firing with the mettle and passion demanded..and all this in a Stroud pub crammed to bursting..and all over the globe too…where red shirts forever outnumber blue 50 to 1…so it begins…again
