When Mr. Jol is on the Dole

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Chas ‘N’ Dave probably feel we don’t hear enough of ‘us’
In this day & age.
Because Spurs just aren’t very good
And haven’t won half as many cups as they think they should.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 And it’s not how it used to be
Following the Spurs
I can’t hear them on the radio
They’re not getting on my nerves.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 And now they never need to bother their song publisher
Because Spurs are just getting rubbisher.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Spurs just aren’t very good
And Mr. Jol is in a hole
And it’s getting even bigger
‘Cause the chairman’s got a digger
And he’s lost control.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 And they thought about following the goons
And playing plastic spoons
But someone might have vandelised their car.
Wearing blue when the weather’s fair
Or even QPR
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Mr. Jol is a dead man walking
Beacause the Boardroom’s been talking
And they think they’re a much bigger team
Than they actually are.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 They should be blowing bubbles
And packing up their troubles
The double’s ancient history
Lost in the sands of time & space
And lands of magical mystery.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 But these things go in cycles
Mention this to fans of Blackpool or PNE
And they just think you’re taking the Michael
But it’s true!

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 And you’ll remember that when
Spurs are boring because they win the league
Over & over again.
And the fans will slap each others backs and say,
‘Do you remember old mr. Jol?’
And a time whwn Tottenham sold their soul.

10 Leave a comment on verse 10 0 And okay, you never gave Chas ‘N’ Dave another song
But it’s wrong.
And you won’t be out of work for very long…
