and got rid of Martin Jol.
He was a dead man walking,
behind his back the talking,
of a man to take his place,
but never told face to face.
The game’s a kick in the grass,
ball control, shoot and pass.
Fans just need but winning teams,
not off field plots and schemes.
They are the ones with the pride,
for they have nowhere to hide.
The directors smile and smirk,
now satisfied with their work.
Not thinking of clubs demise,
or see things through punters eyes.
Where’s the pride to wear the shirt,
the fans are the ones that hurt.
They will still go to the lane,
and hope for good times again.
