If you ever go across the sea to Liverpool
There’s a sight that turns to gold a heart of clay
You will sit and watch the glory that is Anfield
For here is where the mighty Redmen play

Just to hear again the Sons of Spion sing
Dalglish and Rush once more to see them play
The Treble Boys who gave us such a summer
Sure here you’ll find us every other Saturday

The legends of our deeds the world ye know
Here where Jocky pulled on his football boots
Dear Billy Liddell, Sir Roger Hunt now Michael Owen

For here Bill Shankly forged the Liverpool Way
In the fires of not one but two great sides
And they left the rest just blindly chasing shadows
Football played with passion, strength and pride

And if there is going to be a life hereafter
And somehow I am sure there’s going to be
I will ask my God to let me make my heaven
E’re blessed Anfield where the mighty Redmen play.
