Where’s The Carras ?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 No heart, no passion no desire or care.
Just poster boys with their perfect hair.
No spirit, no hunger, no battle of fight.
Not a single leader wearing red in sight.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Where are the Carra’s and the Stevie G?
Real men, real players they were to me.
Go back in history, there are plenty more.
Men when needed who came to the fore.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Too many men looking for a place to hide.
As down the table Liverpool slowly slide.
And time after time the story’s the same.
3 gift wrapped points go down the drain.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I’ll take passion and pride over fancy skill.
Like under the days of Bill Shankly’s drill.
Players not so gifted but who gave their all.
That’s why Bill made them feel 10 feet tall!

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 But now money talks and ridiculous deals.
TV adverts rule and a set of nice wheels.
Mercenary employers, just another pay day.
Give the scousers a shirt to show the way.
