Who Wants To Be In The Premiership (We Do)

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 You can keep your prawn sarnies and corporate box
Your heated boot pegs and personalised socks
Referees with big egos waving cards in the air
Brains in their pockets, their motives unclear
Inflated ticket prices still put bums on seats
Beads on our brow formed a string of defeats
We gatecrashed for one season, pushed down in disgrace
We’ll do it all again if we can win back a place

Notes

Good luck tonight Ipswich FC – East Anglias Premiership hopes are with you – one of us needs to be there to remind people there is more to our two counties than sheltering from that perishing wind off the North Sea
