Rolling over mountains of flesh?!?
No, I’m working away from home,
and the back of a magazine (featuring Lucian Freud’s art) – suffices
and so I do a day’s shift
using routers, broadband, vpn
and all sorts of gizmo devices

Footie magazine if I had one
all time hero Pat Nevin would click for me
topical, would be Hansen or Lawrenson, with MotD looming
and their departures rumoured
Or Gazza or Clark Carlisle
remembering the better times
rather than the depression so eloquently covered
in the latter’s recent documentary
