Write Off FC

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Abundance of talent,
there for all to see,
so why we’re written off so soon,
is a mystery to me.
Since the first day,
of the season,
they said we’d not win a thing,
and gave no good reasons.
But we are the Arsenal,
made history in Milan,
we can match up to any squad,
man for man.
They like to pretend,
we are not here,
nobody likes the Arsenal,
that is quite clear,
they take delight,
in our rare defeat,
but not all teams play our good football,
can keep the ball at our feet.
Write us off at your peril,
Write us off but be warned,
you’re all in for a beating,
from the club you once scorned.

Notes

Everyone, it seems, has been writing off Arsenal since before the season started. why so many people hate us and take delight in our underachievement is beyond me.
