Where despicable things can go on
It’s not often that such humility rises above
“We’re too good to go down to div one”

Through that invitingly open trap door
Whilst the one who survived them to stay up next year
Is most graciously kind to his foe from the field of no more

It could have been us so I know how they feel”
No malice or hate or turned down handshakes
That lately it seems is quite common

This is what we need so badly in our game today interviews like this.

Pompey led by Harry (houdini) Redknapp have missed the drop and Harry comes on MOD to graciously say from his heart exactly how he knows that his two fellowfailed escapee’s must be feeling at this time and how his thoughts go out to the pair of them.

No condescending words of shallowness, but the heartfelt words of an obviously kind and well respected man and manager.

No wonder as somebody in the pub said yesterday they just love him to bits at Pompey where he took this six month job on a handshake with out knowing what they were going to pay him!
