1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 That’s the beauty of our game
you can never predict the score
when you think it’ll be goalless
it’ll probably end up three goals to four.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Take the Manchester derby on Sunday
what on earth was that all about ?
and Chelsea losing to their London rivals
but with only nine men the fans may shout.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 And what about the late goals as well
at Bolton, Fulham and Wolves’ Molineux
proving a game is never really over
so don’t leave early whatever you do.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Players getting sent off everywhere
leaving you puzzled and scratching your head
you say that will only be a Yellow card
but to your horror the refs given him a Red.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 But that’s the beauty of this game we love
you can never ever really be that sure
but one thing you can guarantee is
that we’ll all keep coming back for more !

Notes

What another rollercoaster of a weekend of football, goals all over the place and lots of sending offs too proving there’s never a dull moment in our game.
At the game I went too we had a red card and a late winner, and we dominated most of the match but still ended up losing, which inspired me to write this effort.
