At the library last night
As the Turin giants though tough and defiant
Were beaten out of sight

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Was Trezaguet on field play?
I’m not sure, he could have been
There must have been at least twenty minutes gone
Before a mention of him in the commentary

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Exquisite passing movements
Had Juve boys perplexed
As bold young guns took the game to them
At tremendous pace along the deck

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Capello looked on anxiously
As his team were torn apart
They may have won the scudetto
But these young gunners broke their hearts

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The injury list at the library
Is never used as an excuse
As these young guns dug in as one
To rally up the troops

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Juve finished up with nine men
The Old Lady she did weep
As frustration got the better of her team
For the second time in a week

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 A big shout goes out to the young defence
Who managed a clean sheet
With timely tackles and cool interceptions
Them Turin boys were beat

Those missed they may regret
But I’ve this feeling in me water
That come what may when they travel away
These young guns will find the net!
