A great, an unextinguished flame,
the world forever sings his name.
The greatest player I’ve ever seen,
The greatest player there’s ever been?
Zizou can certainly stake a claim,
with his sheer dominance of the game.

No, remembered for brilliance instead.
Remembered for the wonderful goals,
Remembered for the shattered souls,
Remembered for surpassing the rest,
Remembered, simply, for being the best.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 “The New Zidane” is a phrase used,
far too carelessly,
For a “New Zidane”
there shall never be.
