Dachlan is a 76-year old Merseyside Welshman, who now lives in Indonesia. He is a retired teacher, trainer, librarian and editor, and has worked in Saudi and East Timor as well as Britain and Indonesia. He supports Everton (his Dad was at school in Birkenhead with Dixie Dean), Tranmere, Wrexham, Cefn Druids and Wales, and also remembers the Busby Babes and Shankly’s Reds with admiration. Dachlan has five collections of verse available on Amazon and Kindle, much of it rock’n’roll-themed.

He thanks God that in his lifetime he was able to see players like John Charles, Duncan Edwards and Roger Byrne in action.
