Dennis East

I have played, watched, coached and loved football all of my life – and having been born in Watford, with a grandmother who’s home was in earshot of the ground, it follows that I will always look for the Hornets results first on Saturdays.

I have been writing poetry since a lad and managed to gather enough of my old rhyming style ditties to put together my first book a couple of years back. “All My Own Quirk” can still be found on Kindle for just a couple of quid which goes to charity.

If nothing else, writing poetry allows me to explore and comment on anything that moves me – fortunately I am easily moved and can see the funny / quirky side of nearly everything.

Okay, blow that bloody whistle.
