It’s Never to Late….To Pass The Buck!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 As some terrific accusations by Graham Poll
Are laid at the door, of the English FA
Will he go quietly or sign on the dole,
Perhaps there’s a book on the way?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 He’s pointing the finger, blaming the chaps
For him going into an early retirement
Could the truth be, he never came quite up to scratch
For the modern day football environment?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Three yellow cards in one World Cup match?
Countless dodgy decisions in question
He might be well advised to clam up, looking back
Before casting aspersions by way of suggestion

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The man in the middle used to be seen and not heard
When Hovis was all we had for us tea
But this ego manaic used to thrive on getting the bird
Our game, after all’s, not about referee’s

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Let him go over the hill ranting and raving
Let him be seen as an old bitter star
Seems to me that nothing much has changed here then
That’s just the way that some egos are!

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 It’s a bit late to be stood there complainng
When the stadium gates have been shut
That’s just how us fans felt, at some of your decisions, for ages
Did you ever listen, for one moment to….us?

Graham Poll is not going to go into retirement quitely, that’s for sure.

In an interview in last nights London Evening Standard, he’s blaming the FA, PFA, AA, TUC, BBC, EU, for not supporting him in his run ins with players and managers. It’s a bit late now innit Graham mate?

There’s gotta be a book in the pipeline, surely?
