1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 We took the bus at lunch time
And headed to the Pale
In Kennedys at 6 o’clock
Downing the local ale

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Game kicks off at 8pm
1 up just after seven
Chips and burgers at half time
Was like manna from heaven

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Shels were truly awful
Said they were missing six
As dull as River Tolka
No nutmegs, flair or flicks

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The best thing Richie did that night
Was blow the final whistle
A send off from the schooligans
And back home like a missile

My first away game of the season a languid 1-0 away win over a further depleted Shelbourne.
But we are in the hat for the next round, so something to be thankful for.
