Tapping Him Up

They tapped him with a teaspoon
And they cracked his brittle shell.
They poured the lot
Into the pot,
The yolk and white as well.

They heated up the water
Till the steam began to rise,
And poor old Pat
Did not like that,
Emitting painful cries..

Yes, Pat’s a decent manager,
A mentor and fine coach.
And, I suppose,
The one that Bohs
Decided they would poach.
