The World in a State of Chassis

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The heavens roar, the mountains crumble,
Forests fall and cities tumble,
Fiery comets light the sky
As frightened penguins flutter by.
Rivers turn and flow upstream,
As Earth emits an anguished scream.
Herring make their way to land
And stroll the beaches hand in hand.
The moon, most graceful of all spheres,
Winks gleefully and disappears,
While elephants in dungarees
Sketch scenery and speak Chinese.
Children come out in the night
To watch the soaring pigs in flight.
On the news the godess Isis
Says the world is in deep crisis,
And George and Tony quickly blame
An exciting Northern Ireland game.
