Where the hell are you?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 In darkened rooms, and crowded bars
They follow Rochdale’s story.
Promotion looms, and football stars
Chase promises of glory.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Chris Dunphy shouts, “Where is the crowd,
The Dale needs your devotion.
We need you all, to shout out loud
We’re now talking promotion.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 As Wembley bound, in coaches come,
I have this thing to say,
That day’s support will be welcome,
But where are you each Sat‘day?

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Two thousand and five hundred strong
In this, our hundredth season,
Is not enough to raise loud song,
And give our players reason.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The town needs us, we need the town,
And Spotland’s not that far.
Get over here, don’t let us down,
By bus, walk, or by car.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Rochdale FC, one hundred years
Of playing for the town.
You’ll see the goals, you’ll here the cheers,
Turn up, don’t let us down.
