When Your Mojo’s Back ~ England 4-0 Netherlands

when it clicks you lose the fear
all those doubts just disappear
let’s just mark it as a scare
when your mojo’s back

scintillating on the ball
pressing high and standing tall
so together one and all
and our mojo’s back

just ignore what they all say
blow those cobwebs right away
singing Caroline all day
when your mojo’s back

Lionesses roar once more
we all know there’s so much more
this is what we came here for
and our mojo’s back

Stanway Russo Hemp and James
hard to just pick out one name
Hampton Bronze all on their game
now our mojo’s back

Wiliamson’s over the moon
Greenwood Carter Walsh and Toone
and our mojo’s back

Women’s Euro Time

it’s starting to get pretty close now
it’s getting right down to the line
and the moment this Glasto is over
it’ll be Women’s Euros time
for a festival played with a spirit
and whether we rise or we fall
we’ll be showing respect for each other
and I just can’t wait for it all

now the group that we’re in ain’t that easy
there are three who will stand in our way
first up it’s France then it’s Holland
and Wales will have plenty to say
you can swear that the Spanish are fave’rites
we could easily could trip up and fall
there’s a target to topple the holders
but I just cannot wait for it all

but it’s one of those times when you wake up
to see how it’s grown in its way
how much the game has developed
and the beautiful way women play
from the wonderful Dick Kerr Ladies
when they played back in World War One
to winning the Euros at Wembley
just look how far we have come

to the atmosphere fans have created
so different to crowds at mens games
the way that it’s now so inclusive
and how our awareness has changed
it’s incredible watching it growing
and it’s hard to recall the F.A
banned womens football for fifty long years
and to see where we are here today

but it’s finally getting so close now
it’s getting right down to the line
and once that this Glasto is over
it’ll be Women’s Euro time
for a festival played with a spirit
and whether we rise or we fall
we’ll be showing respect for each other
and I just cannot wait for it all
