with mother waving from the door.
Within her heart a silent prayer,

Soldier, soldier is laying there,
with blood matting his blonde hair.

Soldier, soldier so young and brave,
with bare heads bowing at your grave.
Thousands of men their lives to give,

Soldier, soldier your deed is done,
the last post plays, silent the gun.

As we sing, lord with me abide,
and then support and cheer our side.
Soldiers, sailors,the men that flew,
on this day we remember you.
