When I was eleven,
I first went to heaven,
A grey and red shed round the block!
In a region conflicted,
My heart was afflicted,
to love the team Midlanders’ mocked.

But the season’s have passed,
and supporters have massed,
but nothing has changed how we feel.
Igored local derision-
Twice rose in division
could the Saddlers have gained some appeal?

So now we are found,
In a much improved ground,
with finances amongst the best.
So for all our endevour,
Be prouder than ever…
To wear the Red Swift on your chest.
