Sterling Silva Costa lot when scattered on the pitch,
And presented quite a Hazard to the teams,
But they all Rose to the challenge
And played with all their Hart,
We’d like to see Zamora that,
Football of our dreams.
Cech that pass, a fine Shawcross from centre to the Wright,
The winger bore the Brunt of it
A Blind tackle from behind,
The ref blew up, a free kick Given,
And the crowd didn’t seem to mind.
They all were in good Kompany
With Mutch excitement in the ground,
Some of the Young fans had to Crouch
To spot the Kolorav the kit
Worn by their favourite team,
And when that Herd of youngsters saw it
They were living out their dream.
Footballers’ names are so descriptive,
They lend themselves to verse,
Many more could well be added,
But I’ll have to find them first.
