make your word your bond, James Bond
(but please, not Ken or Kevin);
and do what you say
(while we watch you play);
live up to the promise
that had us all in raptures
(and now cribbing cant captures);
treat people with respect
let your talent be unchecked
so that many generations who follow
might wallow
in our nostalgia;
because, we want our children, from every nation
to understand, that “ideas above their station”
are but dreams
that we work towards
and we must all show a willingness (fans and players alike)
to reap rewards

Couldn’t resist!!!

At the Republican Convention where Donald Trump was formally elected Republican candidate, his wife Ivana addressed the supporters with a speech, one that bore a very striking resemblance to a speech delivered years beforehand by Michelle Obama!

Ivana initially stated that she wrote the speech with little help – funny how a scriptwriter from Trump’s team subsequently offered to resign!
