Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Heptonstall,
the ‘Pool brought their hopes

all the young lads, plus an out of sorts Hyppia
and an under-scrutiny Dudek,
versus the claret and blue’s best,
our manager’s gambit
destined to fail
in the January mud.
