HANGOVER

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 In class the next day,
half were in Heaven, half in Hell.
Everyone had something to say,
half full of gloating, half took it well.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We’ll be up next season-
we’ll pass you on the way back down, one said.
You’ve lost all sense of reason,
one replied, you’ve clearly gone off your head.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 But the best comment of all
(said reverently, like a prayer or a hymn)
was when a young lad called Paul
summed up what it meant to him:

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Now I can play FIFA 2003 –
it’s going to be like a dream!
I couldn’t before – don’t you see?
How could I play as another team?
